Will there be VTT support?
We have a team working on VTT integration as we develop the game. The team is currently volunteer, but as our resources are growing, we will be able to increase production and make sure our VTT implementation is top notch. Our first step in this goal is our digital character creator tool that we are working on!

Why was I charged Shipping through Kickstarter?
You should NOT have been charged shipping. I have released 2 updates with more information on what you need to switch from the OLD tier that was charging for shipping, over to the NEW tier that is no longer charging for shipping. Check out the Update #2 Post for more info if this applies to you (only happened to those who backed in the first 4 hours)

I updated my pledge. Am I still eligible for Early Bird rewards?
As long as your original pledge was made during the first 72 hours and you haven’t fully canceled your pledge, you are still eligible for Early Bird rewards. You can reduce or raise the level of your pledge and will still be considered an early backer. If you backed before 11am CST on June 7th, then you are an early backer and don’t need to do anything to get the rewards for it. Our digital character creator tool will be exclusive for a time for our early backers.

Yes.

Will there be utilization of AI for DC20?
No. We are taking a hard stance against the use of AI for art in our books. There will be ZERO use of AI. There have already been artists that we no longer work with for using AI in art pieces that we rejected for that reason. All artists submit sketches, line work, color paneling, and a final piece along the way to ensure they are not using AI.

Will there be a Psion or Artificer class in the Core rules?
No, but those are both slated for later resources. The Psion will be our first class released on The Dungeon Coach Patreon in the DC20 Magazine. The Artificer is coming in a later book all about crafting and creating things as a player.

Will there be a GM Guide or Monster Book?
Yes, these will be books that we will release after the Core rules and will have their own Kickstarter project(s). In the meantime, we will have the full ruleset available in the Core Rules, and will offer monsters and GM guidance in other places until then. GM Guidance (including systems and worldbuilding information for DC 20), as well as monsters and other resources useful for GMs will be released on the Dungeon Coach Patreon and on the DC20 website as well.

When do we get access to the rules?
We have the rules preview live right now (linked on the Kickstarter page), which is a collection of everything from the game’s Alpha that has made it to our most recent version of the game. When the Kickstart ends and all payments are processed (usually takes 4 days) then all backers will have access to the Beta of the game, including every future update of the Beta until the final release of DC20.

What’s the approximate page count for the final rulebook?
We aren’t sure of what the final page count will be, but our current estimate is between 300-350.

Where is the best place for game rules feedback and discussions?
Currently the best place to give feedback on the game and discuss rules with others is the Dungeon Coach Discord server. There’s a whole community to interact with there, and our developers keep an eye on community feedback there as it’s our best way to know what’s working and what isn’t for the community at large.

Is this being released under the ORC license?
Yes, we are releasing this under the ORC license. We plan on supporting and working with 3rd Party Creators to allow this game and community resources to REALLY grow!

Will AAA be shipped at the same time as the DC20 rulebook?
Yes, the AAA reprint is happening at the same time as the print of the DC20 rulebook, and so both will be sent at the same time with all physical products.

What’s the plan for selling the book, dice, action trackers in the future?
The physical copy of the book, and other books we release, will eventually be available to buy on the DC20 website. The same is true for the dice and action trackers, once the Kickstarter backers get them, they will be available on the website once we get them back in stock.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
