I just sent out an update a few days ago announcing the release of the DC20 0.10 PDF but wanted to stay consistent and not miss a 1st of the month update. So... HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here is a look into the future of what the next updates will hold:

We’re calling this "The Great Rewordening".
We’re gonna be looking at the Core Rules as a whole and figure out what we want the structure of it to be. This will include reorganization of the information, rewording and cleaning up language to be consistent and easily understandable
Pass over the Ancestries to fully update them and include the updated versions of the 4 Kickstarter Stretch Goal Ancestries (Gremlin, Shadowborn, Terraborn, and Goblin).

Now that 0.10 is out and released, myself and the team can focus on some of the other PDFs that we want to get in your hands as well. There will be an update to the Monster Starter Pack, and we’ll start to roll out the Monster Collection, One-Shot Collection, Magic Item Collection soon (with updates to them as we update and finish the game).
We also have another big project we’re working on to give to ALL Kickstarter backers, but I’ll talk about that in the next update!

Happy Holidays from DC20!
HUGE UPDATE! This update is the biggest quality of life improvement / UPGRADE to DC20 YET! Level 1-4 is now truly COMPLETE with the new Spellcaster SPELLS update and the Martial MANEUVER update all in this 0.10 PDF! Here is all the details!

How to get the 0.10 PDF NOW
Kickstarter Backers: Check your DriveThruRPG account. The PDF should be there in the DC20 Section, check there first because it MIGHT say 0.8 or 0.9 still, but if you click on the PDF it will say 0.10. If you already got the update from 0.8 -> 0.9, then this (and all future updates) will work the same way!
Anyone who has the DC20 Core Rules (either Kickstarter or Website purchase) will get all updates to DC20 Core Rules for FREE until the games FINAL release!

0.10 will not be available on Foundry until they finish the update on their end. They have been AMAZING at keeping up with all the changes and I will make an update once they are up to date as well.
0.10.5 will be another smaller update coming to add in the rest of the spells (like Summoning Spells) that did not make it into the 0.10 Update. This will also be the Update that adds the Level 5 Class Features which will expand the games max level to 5.

DC20 Timeline / Release Update
I have seen confusion on the release date of DC20, I made an update a few months back on the updated estimate of the full game release, but I wanted to make a video to post so poeple could be 100% up to date.
Estimated 0.10 Release: Christmas 2025 Estimated 0.10.5 Release: Jan / Feb 2026 Estimated Full Release: Late 2026
0.10.5 will be a quick Follow-up Update for additional spells than the regular 0.10 Update will have.

Huge Spells Update
This is the most amount of Spell progress we’ve made so far, as ALL Spells are out of the outlining and brainstorming phase and are in the final stages of writing and mechanics being made!
This last "Green" step is actually the fastest because we have already written them all out, so all that is left is for me to go through them 1 by 1 to finalize them! We’re so close to that 0.10 Finish Line!

DC20 - Nov 25 Update: Maneuvers Completed!

0.10 Maneuvers Update
ALL Maneuvers have been COMPLETED! This means that there are now around 30 different Maneuvers to choose from in 0.10. Huge whirlwinds, dash through enemies, taunt, brace, and even recovering some HP are all now at Martials disposal!
Now that Maneuvers and Techniques are combined they work much like Spells. Each Maneuver has Enhancements you can spend Stamina (or AP) on to make them bigger and better in a variety of ways.

0.10 Spells Update
We have completed all the game balance templates for Spells, especially for damage scaling. In the image below, you can see how much progress has been made in each Spell category since last month! But now with Maneuvers out of the way... I cant wait to show you guys how close we will be to the 0.10 release!

Spells Update
Back in July’s update, I showed yall where Spells were at (see picture).
AND as a refresher, here are what the colors mean:
Well, this is where we’re at now!
Now that everything else is out of the way (all the martial / general rule updates), just wait until you see what next month’s update will look like! I created this color coding system to CLEARLY show everyone where we are at in design and once you start seeing mostly GREEN, then you know 0.10 is right around the corner!
Extra DC20 Update
Maneuvers and Techniques should be finished sometime this month, so stay tuned for next month’s update for more on that! We also finished the Artificer Class, along with 2 of its Subclasses. I’m really glad we did the design work on this class now, because we found some really cool solutions and ideas for improving the Magic Item system in DC20. Now all Magic Items will have a Magic Power associated with them that’s relatively balanced around what an equivalent amount of Mana could do. This means that when GMs hand out Magic Items, they truly know how strong it is, and when creating your own Magic Items, you’ll be able to more easily balance them.
We are also getting close to releasing some of those other PDFs from the Kickstarter as well! We have been focused on the Core Rules, but have also been developing some of the other PDFs at the same time, so that will be coming soon as well!
Other Updates
I went and filmed 4 campaign episodes of me as a player of DC20, that’ll be going live later this month! Currently, there is an interview that Bardic Aggravation did with me, and they asked a bunch of new DC20 questions. You can check that interview out here:
Artificer Class
There are 13 "Core Classes" in DC20, but I believe that it is good game design to at LEAST outline what the other Classes will be in the game in the long run. I see there being 20 Classes in DC20 TOTAL and the Artificer is one of those! The DC20 Magazine is a resouce that helps us be able to playtest ideas EARLY and refine them before publishing them etc. The work Developing the Artificer has also already made the Core Rules of DC20 Stronger in its Magic Item system that is better now, and more!
